Coal reserves in Ukraine have reached a record 3 million tons

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that about 3 million tons of coal have been accumulated in the country's warehouses, which is a historical figure for the past two decades.

"At the moment, we have about 3 million tons of coal in our warehouses. This is a record figure for the past 20 years, if not for the entire history," the head of government noted.

The increase in reserves is due to the destruction of coal generation as a result of Russian aggression, which has affected the reduction in its use.

Thus, the government continues to work to ensure the country's energy stability in the conditions of war.
