The Guinness Book of Records named the winner in the section "Largest size of one blueberry."
The record holder was a giant Ozblu berry weighing 16.2 g and 36.3 mm in diameter. It was grown by Australian farmers David and Lisa Mazardis.
This was reported by the site Fruitnews.
Previously, the record holder was a berry measuring 12.39 g and 35.7 mm in diameter, which was grown by the same family of farmers in 2018.
"Although large blueberries are the result of a selection process, some markets prefer giant blueberries. The main task of our selection is to ensure the consistency of quality and taste of berries for consumers," said David Mazardis.
