Construction of a 12 MW solar power plant has begun in Berdyansk.

The investor of the project was a Turkish company, zv.zp.ua reports.

The station will include about 40,000 solar panels, which will be installed on a 21-hectare site.
About $ 15 million will be invested in the project.

The construction of the SES is planned to be completed in May 2021. After the launch of the solar power plant, 20 jobs will be created.
