A solar station has been launched in the Kharkiv region, which will provide electricity to a city of 30,000

In the city of Kupyansk (Kharkiv region) a solar power plant with a capacity of 2 MW has started operating.

The project was implemented by a local manufacturing company, reports vecherniy.kharkov.ua.

SES was installed on the territory of the former shop of the local meat-packing plant. 5264 UL-380 photomodule made in China was used to convert sunlight into electricity.

"The solar power plant is able to fully provide electricity to the population of Kupyansk (excluding industrial enterprises and social institutions)," said the founder and chairman of the Institute of Sustainable Development Stanislav Ignatiev on his Facebook page. "An interesting fact is that this solar power facility is the easternmost solar power plant in Ukraine, which is closest to the war zone."
