The national joint-stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine is building two solar power plants - in the urban-type settlement of Andriyivka in the Kharkiv region and in the village of Chudniv in the Zhytomyr region.
This was announced by the chairman of the board of "Naftogaz" Andrei Kobolev on June 22, reports expro.com.ua.
"The first SES will be put into operation in the near future," he said. "Power is not ready to say yet, maybe we will review it."
NJSC's solar projects will fall under another system of state regulation. "We expect to recoup the project within 7 years," said the chairman of the NAC.
Due to quarantine, the construction of solar power plants took time. "Due to the coronavirus, the export of solar panels from China for two of our SES under construction has stopped for some time," said Andriy Kobolev.
